Opening the GIE Control Panel


This configuration tutorial will walk you through each of the Guard-IE setting tabs.  You will be told how to make these configuration changes yourself independent of this tutorial.

After you install Guard-IE you can open up the Settings/Control Panels by pressing the Guard-IE castle in the Guard-IE toolbar and then selecting "Settings" as shown below.

After selecting "Settings" the Settings/Control Panel form will appear.  Normally, the Welcome tab will come up as selected.  A live version of the Welcome page is shown below.

If you wish to see more Tips of the Day, simply check the little grey box to the right of the "Tip of the Day" text.  Press the box above a few times to read some of these Tips.

Uncheck the "Always show this page when Guard-IE starts" if you prefer the Control Panel to open to the tab which was opened last.
